Empowerment Of Women!

She rises from the ground and with her strength touches the Heavens

When your eyes open for the first time;
The hands of a woman wrap you in Thyme.

When your heart beats to make a sound,
The ears of a woman are on your chest to be found.

When your lips play with a radiant smile,
Take a glimpse of the parched lips of a woman for a while.

When your tear-filled eyes spill a drop,
This woman upholds your pain to stop.

When your comrades forget to play,
This woman clasps you in her arms and sway.

When oodles of your work is undone,
This woman stays by you until the rising sun.

When your life shuffles happiness to invite sorrow,
This woman of integrity desires to borrow.

When you are lonesome and forlorn,
There is a blissful woman with you to mourn.

This woman is your mother, sister, daughter or wife,
The existent support and comfort throughout your life.

About globalunison

Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride. For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life! I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers! -Naima

Sweet poem. Women in Celtic society were what provided the tribe with their strength.

Absolutely!!! Beautiful written, i always say…if ever you disrespect or disregard a woman…you disrespect your own existence and birth.

Wonderful poem: A tribute to all women! Thank you

    • I am glad you enjoyed it 🙂
We all should acknowledge the efforts of our mommys, wives, sisters and daughters – hence respect women in all the respect in all their faces.
      Much love,

  7. Long live women
we will always die for you
we will always write poems for you
    we will always love you
we will always discover that we have some nobleness and a part in the universe’s play just by looking into your eyes
while we will be always wondering if you could die for us
…because what would be the flower without someone to look at and smell it
or God without someone to praise Him
or the day without the night

    (love you girls)
    – men – 🙂

    • You really made me “BLUSH” or should I say this simply expresses your love towards the women who have contributed to make the “PALVOS” in you. I am glad you have expressed it with sincerity and the over-whelming emotions were simply to evident.
      Much love,
      -Naima.

      • Hope I did not make you blush thinking “this guy is going to destroy my blog” 😀 …it is an expression of a fact / reality towards all women (including the female soul / Anima that all people, men and women carry inside us).

      • Hahaha 😀
Nah, you can take my word there, I didn’t think that for a moment. Well, you are very right – we all carry the nobility of women in one phase of life or the other; we just have to get the right tab clicked at right time.
        -Naima.

Oh no. I’m home sick now. my mom is the one who comes in to mind when I read this. Nice poem Naima!

  13. There is a lack of feminism these days, or at least it seems so. I think the world needs much more of it, especially now. Great poem, it was right on time like all your posts!

    • Now I am glad you mentioned “the lack of feminism”; I think that this is one main issue why global changes tends to be worse. There was time when WOMEN used to sacrifice anything for the sake of happiness of the family and society and now with modern technology and modern women, the sense of feminism has driven away.
Thank you so much Travish for dropping by.

  14. A wonderful ode to women, Naima! Thank you so much! Just beautiful!

    • Thank you for enjoying it! Women should be acknowledged regardless of the day, date and time. They make this world HEAVEN for the survival by making their own lives HELL..
      -Naima.

  15. As a mere elephant, let me bow my head to the wonder that is woman.

Beautiful poetry, especially the concluding lines. Makes me a bit sad that I do not have any mother or sister or daughter comfort, but I love your poetry always. Thank you!

  17. I have few of these women in my life. What a true blessing that is.

I have four sisters, and I have traveled the World, and let go of someone that are equally precious in my heart, and came back for my old mom, and to support my sisters to take care of her. Life is beautiful, when you have less fear, and more love. Isn’t it?

    • Yeah, less fear and more love! One lesson I have learned from you! Fear does not allow you to display your capability at heights yet love is totally an opposing force!!
      -Naima.
