Tear Drops

Cry until happiness embraces the swollen eyes

The reflection unseen,
Craving a cup of caffeine.

Red swollen face and the rolling tears,
To tug the outburst within revealing fears.

The dark starry night thus so long,
Rumbling words tuning into a rhymed song.

The alcohol defy to tempt insanity,
The roller coaster of life betrays humanity.

My body’s numb and strength fatal,
Love rescues my conscience unstable.

Panic strangles the mystery,
Tear drops narrate their history.

The hasty breaths release the firm grip,
The grievous setback attempts to make a flip.

The calmness pleads the hustle bustle to take control,
Happiness forgives sorrow for its vicious role.

Endurance of tear drops uphold a smile,
The enchanting air heals the wounds in a while.

About globalunison

Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride. For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life! I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers! -Naima

  10. WOW! I opened up your blog and there was this big EYE staring out me. That’s what makes blogging so much fun. There are so many different ideas and different way to present them.

Thanks for stopping by my Mix&Match. I don’t have a central theme. It’s more fun visiting people and then thinking……I think I would like to talk about their idea too.

I dabble in Inkscape and Gimp. Have fun with your creations.

Love your poetry and wrote a piece of music to go with your Tear Drops. Listen https://soundcloud.com/dwpmusic/tear-drops
How would feel if I combined your poetry and my music into a tone poem and posted it on YoutTube complete with the artwork accompanying your poem?
    In any event great job.

    • Thank you for the tone poem, Daniel. I heard it on sound cloud and it was beautiful.
Thank you for sharing it with me.
      Kind Regards,
      -Naima

Naima, I was thinking about combining your poem and my music along with the picture associated with your poem to make a YouTube video – a tone poem. I would not make it public until you approved it. Would you be interested in that?

        Daniel
