I am Destroyed!

When I realized – it was too late!

Tears of blood, predicting a flood;
Worn out soul, screeching in mud.

Splendid mornings turn out to rust;
Where shedding tears is considered must.

Sparkling eyes chasing crystals in the sky;
Thou each gaze pulls me strongly, making a way to die.

Strings of emotion tuned to deviate and devastate;
Crumbled heart seeking the happiness over-delayed.

The beauty of my soul vanishes away;
Thou enchant a spell to stand out in the breaking day.

Abhorring the wounds, all over the heart;
Surrendering to the agony, caused by the poisoned dart.

Thou snatched my life, scorned the blissful smile;
Blessing with the everlasting pain, in thee own style.

World around me perishes as thee left me forlorn;
Sweet smells bitter, flowers turn into painful thorns.

Invisible thee, but apparent to me;
Seeking thou in Eden, finding the glee.

About globalunison

Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride. For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life! I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers! -Naima

    Whats wrong? I hate to put like here because I don’t like the way this sounds. What is going on? Can I help you?

    • Ahhh. Nothing is wrong, sweetheart! I love you for your concern! I know this sound very low and there is a reason behind it. Few weeks back, I heard my friend got divorced due to some problems; I think both of them were responsible partly as they couldn’t not decide to compromise and take such a fierce and unhappy decision when she was pregnant with his baby! She plans to give birth to the baby but they have destroyed the family already! The kid in this world would not be happy seeing his parents apart!
      I wrote this poem feeling the excruciating pain and hence I shared it today!
      Once again, thank you for your concern!
      Much love to you and hugs,

        Well, you certainly gave your feelings voice! So glad that you are ok, and so sorry about your friend. Sometimes sorrow can result in a creative burst like this. Your poem is very powerful!

      • Your concern and care moved me, love you so much for that artzent! Thank you for always being there!!

  2. I think it is important that we have an image of ourselves not contingent on people, places or things and not amended by what people do or don’t do.

  3. You are certainly right to an extent Sir but if we have a broader point of view – the things, places, people and situations all are interrelated that helps us develop our very own picture in the society!
    We many not take in consideration their perspectives regarding us but at times this is one necessary factor to build up the self esteem!!
    Thank you for the contribution!

    • Hmmmm.. The feelings are simple yet complicated!
      Thank you for your humble comment!

    • No no no! You don’t have the right to tell that towards me buddy gal.
      *Oppositions against this sort of facts from me is STRICTLY RESTRICTED for YOU*
      Please do make convenient adjustments in those aspects ONLY if YOU can. LOL. 😀 😉 🙂
      I’m feeling good now dear. Didn’t went to college today. Was at home itself taking medicines, watching some movies and all. As I told you in Ambiguous Words, this fever serves me to know in detail about an awesome minded lady doctor. Will surely tell you about her via a surprise post. 🙂 🙂 How about your vacation days? Results came, uh?

  7. We all want our lives to be good and trouble free. We want it even more for our friends.
    Many times we can do something for our friends…..provide food, clothing and shelter.

    But the emotional help is so much harder. Sometimes words are the best we can give. But not just any words. The choice and arrangement are so important. You certainly know how to choose and arrange.

    I am sure you can give comfort to your friend with your wonderful words.

    • I hope I can give comfort to her! It is basically that her pregnancy is giving her a hard time with the divorce! I hope they are fine!!!
      Thank you for such a kind and humble comment!

    I would be honoured if you accept!

  11. This is devastatingly beautiful! Have I told you that before? If I have, it is because you are so brilliant at writing profound emotion that brings the reader to a screeching halt…..if this is true, this makes me want to punch something for your hurt heart….I want names and numbers! If not, carry on with the earth shattering tone and beauty of your words…. :)….very well done, my friend….
    lots of love
