Lived Up To Sway Passionately!

As we lived up to sway passionately!

Do you remember?
That boy from the mountains,
Where the dead-cold December,
And the freezing fountains,
Lived up to sway passionately.

The moment I saw him,
Butterflies attacked my belly,
My heart bleeped on a whim,
I melted like a jelly,
My lashes began to flutter,
As the rain drops drenched my face,
I rhythmically began to utter,
The love song rejoicing our dreamlike embrace,
His glimpse made my heart stutter,
As we lived up to sway passionately.

He was talking to his guy friends,
Smiling and laughing as his dimples sank,
Deep within his cheeks as I saw their ends,
Alas! What a beauty, my heart bowed to thank,
Could I touch him with my eyes?
Didn’t he observe me watching him?
Chills run down my spine as he tried,
To look at me with the corners of his eyes,
I turned around and smiled to myself,
As we lived up to sway passionately.

I turned back to find nobody in his place,
I cursed myself for moving my eye off his face,
I couldn’t let go off him – I need to chase,
My trembling heart began to race,
Racing heart couldn’t get back to its pace,
Just then I felt a sensational embrace,
Somebody tracing my arms from behind in-case,
I turned around and his smile shining down with grace,
His gleaming eyes requested for a dancing phase,
As we lived up to sway passionately.

The dance floor so welcoming yet,
All I could see was only him I bet,
He pulled me closer while I began to sweat,
Shoving off the anxiety – we were ready to set,
For a flight on his private jet,
A flight to the love land where I threat,
If biting on a poisonous apple would be my regret,
I didn’t let go off him as he gripped me tight,
Didn’t worry to have a poisonous bite,
My mighty strength announced him my personal knight,
I kissed him right and he made me fight,
To hug him tight and hold his sight,
As we lived up to sway passionately.

He bowed his head,
As his heart bled,
For our union in bed,
But I could not be misled,
By the crocodile tears he shed,
So I took a thread,
And tied it on his wrist until red,
He gave me the look of dread,
But I smiled as he fled,
To another land,
With another sexy damsel,
For another grand celebration on the stand,
As they lived up to sway passionately.

About globalunison

Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride. For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life! I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers! -Naima

Sometime it hurts, sometime in joy, but upon all, trust is so important. Love does not mean sacrifice, as there is no such word when two people are really in love. It is a shame if someone left a relationship because of lack of trust, and lack of confidence to live with each other. I looked into the dictionary for some words in order to understand the poem :). I feel that it is different from your previous writing. That is a good surprise.

    • Heya,
I hope ya are done with digesting my poetry for today, LOL.
Anyway, I agree to what ya say all about love and relationship. As far as talking about how this poem is different from others, this is again a mystery to me. My friend who is a blogger as well as a loyal reader to my site asked me to write a romantic poetry. It was moreover a challenge as I had never done it before specifically. I was going good until the last stanza! I don’t know why I included the last stanza but it came by itself and I couldn’t think of not including it after I was done writing, I tried to replace it with some other words while posting over here too but I was helpless with words!Hence, I think I disappointed my friend too with the last stanza but all I could say is it wasn’t intentional – at times you just can’t control the harness of words even if you want to.
Thank you for always sparing the time to comment! You are just too awesome =)
      With love,

The good thing and the different is that you follow your heart, and you start to write your own story, and not someone’s story.

I used to write my own story too, but with someone’s words.

Then comes another thing in writing, I like to cut and paste news on a book when I was in my secondary school, and I read a story about Hemingway. He was a boxer too, and a journalist. Do you know there is anything in common in these two career?

You should look it up and you will know why =), I stop here for your research.

        with love too =)

      • Okay, you left me with a good name “Hemingway” and I read about him. I think I need to read one of his book now, I am tempting it (lol – ignore my stupidity)
To be very honest, I tried to search up on similarity between boxing and journalism but I couldn’t come up with anything but just some of my brain interpretations. I think the common difference between them is that they both are accountable to their people. You make me think and I like it.
Have a very good night with a smile 🙂

I have vaguely the memory because the I read the short article about Hemingway, that was a very long time ago. I tried to find it in the internet to refresh my memory, but not too much could I find. Here I make my attempt to remember, and to explain.

In the ring of boxing, there is no way we can have flowery movement (i.e. analogy to beautiful adjectives in writing), and every punch we give, must be accurate, and killing, but with the energy to reserve to defence, and to move in the attack in a very swift time. The boxer could not afford to have wasting their energy, every attack in between, is with uttermost careful in plotting, and in preparation of the next attack. This is also his style in writing news, and later the novel.

I hope that is the correct interpretation.

        Good night to you too
