The Mystery of Life

life_beautiful (16)
Before your lips flutter,
Words you want to utter,
Dare you not stutter,
Think before you open your mouth,
Think of the birds flying from North to South,
Think of the whales underwater,
Think of the life without death for a matter,
Think and realize before you lose  your breath.

Watch your words before you speak,
Don’t be a reason for someone to be weak,
Don’t hassle and try not to freak,
You know the truth which they are willing to seek,
Who says, truth is bitter?
Prove them wrong and let your smile glitter.

Birds are a symbol of freedom,
A reason for the mornings to be cheerful,
A reason for the sun to be fearless,
A reason for the earth to be beautiful,
A reason for the humans to learn to be blissful,
Teaching the significance of love, unity and the charm to be graceful.

Water is life,
A symbol of purity,
For marine life, an insurance of security,
Beauty of the oceans and the creatures undiscovered,
Praise the glory of Nature,
When every day is a new beginning in the undercover,
Grab the opportunity where Nature can be your lover.

Death is a mystery,
Yet life is a puzzle to solve this history,
As you sow so shall you reap,
Keep your nose clean while you prepare for the eternal sleep,
Cherish every morning and the presence of sun,
Live every moment like it’s your last and the only one.

Wisdom is the daughter of experience,
Life teaches you step by step on the way,
Be careful as there’ll be ups and downs as you stray,
Remain steadfast for you’re a warrior who can’t run away,
Believe in your heart and soul – forget and forgive everyday.

About globalunison

Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride. For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life! I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers! -Naima

“Wisdom is the daughter of experience” – I really love this line.

  4. you’re an optimist girl and your words are wonderful. but I gotta say that last stanza is mine for sure. specifically the last four words. I can’t do that period. if you only knew how much i’m absorbing with this latest tragic circumstance. is the picture something just random. I really dig it.

    • I understand Don, I have been reading your poetry and its clearly reflected how you are coping up with the circumstances so bravely and I am very sorry about it – but it is life and you gotta struggle until you reach your final destination!
It is random but as you can dig it, I surfed like for half an hour seeking the right picture for this poetry and when you said you can dig it, i felt like it was worth it =)
      With love and warm wishes,
      -Naima.

PS– Dont forget to smile, it is your strength!

      • I never smile as it’s not very cosmetic in appearance. if I did it only comes from within. the writing is certainly keeping me brave throughout it all. it’s the bowflex – a workout mechanism to make big muscles. maybe that is what one needs not to get focked with. yes, the whole thing has been quite the struggle on my emotional makeup. but now this bowflex is toughening me up mentally as well. I feel more sharper because of it. thanx for sending the love and warm wishes. always appreciate it coming from you. :))

      • To all what you said, I’d just say – you’d live and will get over with it! Time heals wounds and at times you can’t even find the scars after a period of time. I am certain that with the courage you possess, you’d be okay soon enough, my friend! How about your guitar lessons, btw? =)
        -Naima.

      • thanx naima….guitar lessons….ahhh….self taught. what I have learned when is started back up has been from the net. it’s a great tool. didn’t have this type of user friendly net back in the 80’s. I hear ya girl. I am getting stronger by the day. it’s going to be quite the fight in the future.

      • The point is, you’d fight and you’d win! Bingo! 😉
        -Naima.

PS– Yeah yeah, those self taught lessons, what happened to them? Internet is addictive eh? 😉

  5. Your words are always so refreshing and so very thought provoking in such a genuine way. Wonderful message! Have a wonderful Easter Naima! I like you miss your words, and I am getting better! Your words are always a healing elixer! God bless and much love to you and your family!

Hi Naima — I too enjoyed the quote “wisdom is the daughter of experience” — we learn all the days of our lives as long as we are willing to risk admitting we might be wrong

    • “What if” always lurks around but as long as you are courageous enough to take risks, life will turn out to be well cause after all it is never too late to learn from your mistakes, right? =)
Thank you for dropping by, so glad to have you around again!
      With love and warm wishes,
      -Naima.

Are you sure you are 17 ? Because from the theme of this poem, it sure does not seem so…
Really good ! I do not have anything to add. Its beautiful…

    • Erm, I am 18 now, About me is an year old! Well, it is nevertheless about age – as the poetry itself says, “Wisdom is the daughter of experience” – thank you for the appreciation, always honored to have you reading and commenting! Have a good day!
      -Naima.

      • Tatsat ⋅

Haha 🙂 Yeah. I forgot. you are 18 and have attained the voting age already ! Can not treat you as the kid you once were now. Fair enough 🙂 And, that is an astute observation- wisdom comes from experience ! Could not be put forth in a better way.

As the magician in the movie “The Prestige” said, ” Are you watching closely ?” You must, as the years go by, and you will turn out to be a wonderful person that you already are.

        Keep it up

      • When you can watch movies and retain dialogues in your head, then why not giving the shot to reading books eh? lol
And i get your point and thank you for not treating me like a kid and realizing that I am legally an adult now (feels good you know lol)
And I will try to keep up with your expectations! =)
        -Naima.

  11. Hi Naima. How are you? Someone said to me recently, how they love dogs because they wag their tails, not their tongues. There’s a simplicity in that, and your opening words reminded me of that 🙂

    • Hey Alarna,
I am doing good, thanks. How are you? Good to see you around and thank you for reading.
I get where you’re coming from – we need to be very careful with our tongue, words are irreversible unfortunately and so is time! Have a good day and thank you once again!
      With love and warm wishes,
      -Naima.
