Mighty Love()

Lonely yet I believe in love,
Sad yet I believe in happiness,
Evil yet I believe in good,
Wrong yet I believe in right,
Foolish yet I believe in wisdom,
Coward yet I believe in courage,
A loser yet I believe in victory,
I believe in me – I believe in my odds,
I recreate myself whenever I want,
I encourage my versatility,
I loathe those who judge,
I cherish my strengths,
I treasure my guts,
Love me, love yourself and love us,
We are different – noble and blessed,
Leave the hatred behind – do not judge,
This world is a small place for a grudge.

The Connection of My Soul with Evil

Across the shore, behind the rocks,
My wounded heart strangled in sinful locks.

I stretch my arms wide to embrace the globe,
The grief of denial – the soft whisper fondles my ear lobe.

The significance of my subsistence is fairly explained,
I wandered bare foot; my liberated soul detained.

The hustle bustle to seize the life’s train overwhelms me;
The horizon caresses my sight compelling me to flee.

Sorrow and distress soothes my soul;
Longing for agony performs a mighty role.

Blissfulness is neither my aim nor my consent;
Desires dwelling in my heart are slaughtered – twistedly bent.

The intoxicating air bruises my free will;
However leaving the world behind; my fingers feel the top-most hill.

Confessing my sins sanctifies me with a new life;
My soul is naked – transgressions excited to slash me with a knife.

The evil is tempted by the nobility of nakedness;
Thus wrapping the new-born soul in the garb of wickedness.

Several births in this world may not feed the soul with goodness;
Hence this world is the abode of evil upholding darkness and blindness.

Summer 1969 (Part I)

Remember the summer of 1969?
He can’t get her face out of his mind,
The gleaming eyes and her smile so divine,
At the age of 17, love was kind,
Their love was innocent so were their hearts,
Nothing was right or wrong,
However the passion to master the art,
The art to love and to be loved lifelong,

Behind the trees,
Beneath the stars,
They held hands,
They vowed never to be apart,
Life is time,
They tried to rhyme,
And there they were,
Savoring love,
With the burning scars.

Can they forget the Summer 1969?
Delights of the young love re-defined,
Cherishing each other every single day,
Young love evaded the uncertainty on its way,
For them, love was a fairy-tale what everybody say,
The story of Cinderella, Snow-white or any other princess,
Where happily-ever-afters were never to decay,
Their naive vision has to be flawless,
Without realization, they were offered solace,
Life was brutal and now they knew,
Challenges may pursue their motives,
However, the flame of love would get them through,

Behind the trees,
Beneath the stars,
They held hands,
They vowed never to be apart,
Life is time,
They tried to rhyme,
And there they were,
Savoring love,
With the burning scars.

To Be Continued…

Moments

Note: Hey there Folks! This is my very first duet with a fellow-blogger, Neeraj. We enjoyed composing it and I hope you all would enjoy reading. Additionally, I encourage all who doesn’t know him to visit his blog – a very talented poet and song writer. Thank you.

(Neeraj)

Stay here, closer,

Let me run out of breath,

We’ve got this moment,

It’ll not be here forever,

It may never come again,

Let me live,

Every moment of it,

Let us die in its arms tonight.

(Me)

Stay there, far away,

No need for you to be here today,

We had the moment and we did it all,

Let go of me,

Let me fall,

It may never occur to you,

Love ain’t lust, I’m through.

(Neeraj)

Stay here, closer,

Let me inhale you slowly,

Let me kiss you properly,

Once it is over,

It won’t come again,

Let me live,

Every moment of it,

Let me not be wise tonight.

(Me)

Stay there, far away,

Don’t you play with my hair,

Don’t you dare to come any near,

Let me sob for all I’ve done,

Let me take the blame for once,

It may never occur to you,

We were through way before we knew.

(Chorus)

The moment we thought could get us together,
The moment we thought could get us better,
The moment we thought could stay there forever,
It passed and we surpassed,
‘Cause we never tried,
To hold it tight,
To make it right…

Crazy Midnight Post!

It tasted better than KFC's Twister (I swear)

It tasted better than KFC’s Twister (I swear – don’t forget healthier as well)

I had a very yummy Midnight-Snack (I think it was the world’s best wrap) and I am craving Ben & Jerry’s half-baked Alaska (Cookie Dough & Chocolate Fudge Brownie) so much! Not that I don’t have it in the freezer but I am trying to keep my hands off eating too much at this point and time of the night!

Something I got hold of when it snowed in the mid or March - a chock for many who are new to England's unpredictability!

Something I got hold of when it snowed in the mid of March – a shock for many who are new to England’s unpredictability!(Yet I love England for now at least)

The night was starry earlier, I had two cans of Red bull around 8 in the evening when I went for a walk. The sunsets in Spring are stunningly beautiful though I am not sure if it’s spring in England or not as it hasn’t quite warmed up in here. The wind blows like a tornado is on its way, at times it is enough scary – thankfully I am not skinny.

"He's Watching Her" - I didn't even have to read the synopsis before buying this one and I don't regret!

“He’s Watching Her” – I didn’t even have to read the synopsis before buying this one (Ignore the background)

Currently, I am reading this book “Killing Cupid” by Louise Voss & Mark Edwards. I must say, a pretty good book – I’d even recommend reading it to those who’d like raw romance/love (I really mean “Raw” – you’d get to know once you get hold of the book to read the synopsis) along with suspense and a major thriller! The main character “Alex” creeped me out more than once in the beginning but I always end up falling for the main(male) character in the book and so it happened for him too – at times I wonder, why men in books are portrayed to be perfect?

Well, I probably would get back to reading as I am done with this exciting midnight post! I am not stoned but still I am high – the freaking part is “I don’t know why”!

So…….. May the odds be in your favor – Goodbye! (Good Night/Good Morning/Good Evening according to your time zones – Happy Friday)
