The knots in my stomach,
The lump in my throat,
Their false-promises,
The cruel way they gloat,
So I wonder how can they not feel stress and anxiety?
So I wonder how can they let themselves be another causality of the society?
So I wonder how can they sleep at night knowing that people are dying of starvation?
So I wonder how can they ignore the ongoing conflicts and brutality?
As I pace back and forth,
Searching for an answer,
As I continue to live like this,
The suppression of free speech,
Eating me away like cancer,
So I wonder how can they not want peace in reality?
So I wonder how can they not try to eradicate poverty and inequality?
So I wonder how can they be socially blind?
So I wonder how can they ignore the suffering of mankind?
I follow through the dark,
Searching for the glimpse of light,
The hunger for change,
Holding onto hope,
For the pitch-black night to shine so bright,
We don’t have to listen to their lies anymore,
We have the power to set a vision,
Ultimately leading us to our mission,
So I wonder why do we blame them when we can be stronger on our own?
So I wonder why do we not unite and fight our battles as one?
So I wonder why do we hesitate to take action when we know we should?
So I wonder why do we not rescue humanity by moulding bad into good?

All what’s wrong in this world put in a beautiful poem 🙂
Love, Ses
Aww.. Thank you Sessela ❤
Have a great Sunday.

The bad, from where a lot of them come from, abuse and no emotions at all, are justified. Someone has to be at the top because socialism now is obsolete; we have gone beyond one of the foundatoins of democracy. Socialism is just too slow and I am baffled why they can’ t see that. Sorry, way off the lines of your post. Good can and will be achieved. It’ sa damn long road. Just look at it from the point of vue of sustainability.
I agree, Julie. The journey to good is not something that can be achieved over-night. Also, things that have got to last take their time. I wish we all can see and understand that one day.
Thank you for your comment. I hope you are doing well.
Kind Regards,
-Naima
Better Naima, thank you. It’s almost as though a new political outlook/party has to be created to challenge the Tories in GB. It’s possible to be faster , on their terms, more unity, and fairness based on Merit. We need a new political Napoleon to inject a sense of pride to all
That’s it, girl! That’s exactly what I wanted to get across — we need new people and new things to implement the change. The old political parties (or outlook) are just looking out for themselves and we need a lot of things they don’t and can’t provide for. All we have to do is: start from our homes. Preaching and be the change we want to see. The problem is nobody takes responsibility and that continues to pile on our unresolved issues. Piling them on is not a solution because for how long exactly can these people actually live in ignorance?
I am happy you are better, Julie.
Love and hugs,
-Naima

Haha, how much I need that right now.

Yes!!!!!!! I wish we could go to the hardware store and purchase one.
I think people are not ignorant, they know what is right, they know bad stuff happens. I think it is a mixture of selfishness, discouragement and apathy. Those that care do not have the faith that they can change things so they tend to hide their eyes to escape the responsibility. The changes needed are so monumental as to daunt all but the most intrepid, yet change will come by one means or another (sadly the “other” comes at great cost.)
The pity is that despite knowing what is right, they are scared to stand for it. I agree that change will come one way or the other but we have got to try to begin the ‘change’. My point is: if you can see it then you cannot escape the responsibility or walk away. I just hope that we can be united as ‘humans’ and overcome the boundaries we have created to separate ourselves.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, Claire.
Kind Regards,

I really like this poem. It really challenges us. My favorite line is “We have the power to set a vision,” and then how it goes on to challenge us to organize and take action. Excellent!
Thank you for your kind words, Milford. I very strongly believe that we have all the power to help ourselves but we are scared to be ‘the one’ to initiate not knowing that may be by stepping up, we might encourage others like us.

Selfishness is a disease that’s eating away our society. I wonder how can we stoop so low — where’s the humanity?
-Naima
With money being a priority, relationships taking a back seat and the whole world being about “me and I”, humanity has lost it’s way. People nowadays would sell their souls for money, which is truly heart breaking.
Playing cool, wearing masks and being rich is the new ‘in’ thing.
Wearing masks has always been trendy and look where it has got us? We don’t care anymore — we don’t want to.
-Naima
For some odd reason I never learned to wear a mask at-least for who I’m as a person lol someone recently just called me a “Rare specie” hahaha I’m that odd xD
but yes, everything is so plastic, I mean people are always hanging out, partying but they bitch and crib about the same people and nobody is genuinely there for anyone. So much drama for nothing!
People don’t care about ‘genuine’ anymore because they are busy faking.
You are a rare specie ’cause you have a voice to shake the thoughts, a voice that can build a thunder, a voice ever so sweet yet so bold. You being you is an inspiration for everybody who want to be themselves.
-Naima
This made my day <3, I've been cursing my health non stop all day but now I'm all smiles lol. Thank-you love, coming from you this truly means a lot ❤
