Puffin’ the hand-rolled cigarettes,
Sippin’ on quality scotch,
The smoke filled room and the rainbows in her soul,
3:15 on her broken watch,
She was not the same girl,
The one who fled home,
When she was ordinary and eighteen,
She was not afraid to fall anymore,
There wasn’t much left to be seen,
She was fire and chaos intertwined in harmony,
So she flipped through the pages of a magazine,
The place to which she belonged in all her entirety,
In those pages, she was alive,
Clothed in magic, flaws and time,
While she had survived the war many times over,
The world is now reduced to the wraith of her madness,
Where she had her place in the sun,
The stars got tangled in her hair,
And the moonlight sparkled in her eyes,
The curve of her lips so much like a galaxy’s edge,
She was a broken beautiful universe all in her bruised self.
- Embrace your brokenness for that is what makes you an epitome of beauty and a phenomenon of magic – be fearlessly and unapologetically you.

We are all here in this beautiful poem 💜
Ah, aren’t we?
Thank you for your comment, Willow. I hope you are doing well. Your poetry itself is so beautiful!
Much love,
-Naima
Thank you for saying so Naima ,I am fine, I hope you are too.💜
That’s why we all are beautiful I presume. Loved that quote that you have written
We all are ‘beautifully broken’ – I keep repeating that because the moment we accept our flaws and march with our head held high up, they become our strength (without us even knowing). Perfection is overrated, brokenness is where we find our true spark.
Thank you for reading and for dropping a comment. I greatly appreciate it.
Blessings,
-Naima
Beautifully expressed.. I have learned that too.. but with your permission I would like to add one aspect to this awesome explanation and that is… apart from accepting the faults we possess and converting them into our strength,
We also must acknowledge those who breaks us from within, must be appreciated and loved forever no matter how difficult it is… that’s precisely I have been doing since last two and a half years and surely will continue till I die because the person who broke me deep inside is precious to me and I carry loads of love and respect for her….
I can’t agree more, people who break us or who leave us stranded teach us the most valuable lessons and how can they be loathed or even destroyed for preaching us the meaning of life?(:
Thank you for sharing your piece of mind, it’s always so insightful to communicate and exchange thoughts and to understand another person’s view point.
Blessings,
-Naima
Exactly that’s what I said that those people are precious to me and i love them the most.. they cannot be hated !!
“must acknowledge those who breaks us from within, must be appreciated and loved forever no matter how difficult it is… that’s precisely I have been doing since last two and a half years and surely will continue till I die because the person who broke me deep inside is precious to me ”

Hey there, long time no see huh?! That’s an honor and a privilege at the same time if I had been able to communicate the point of loving our brokenness and accepting ourselves in the best of our capacity.
Thank you very much for reading and for dropping a comment. I hope you are doing well, Sheldon.
Much love and blessings,
-Naima
My mind is always willing it’s my body that has been dictating my mind

Brokenness is beautiful only if we embrace it and share to the world in colorful spectrum… like this poem.
I think we are always leaving our pieces behind giving everyone we encounter the taste of our brokenness. It’s inevitable unless somebody has just mastered the art of faking perfection.
Thank you, I am glad you liked it (:
Kind Regards,
-Naima

Welcome back! Brokenness is what makes us beautiful and unique. How are you, Naima?
Hey Darshith,
Indeed, our brokenness is unique to each one of us just like our struggles and DNA.
I am well, thank you very much. How have you been? I wish you a great day ahead.
Kind Regards,
-Naima
