Princess of Darkness

Stargazing, soul-searching and traveling,
Hammocks, polaroids and galaxies,
Experiences emanating magic and madness,
Losing track of time and reality,
Her new-found wings defying the laws of gravity,
While all along she had been surrendering to her mind,
The calls of her heart rings stranger chords,
New tattoos, gypsy guitars and intoxicated winds,
And her dreams pulling their own swords,
Battling the world with her poetic pen,
She fiercely coloured her own rewards,
Insanity raised peace but normality doubts,
Her demons imparted strength but angles chaos,
She was a dance of fire and ice,
Embracing the cold and craving the burns,
Oblivious to the fundamentals of life, she failed to see the joy in pain,
She had to rejoice the fallings of autumn to cherish the buzz of spring,
While she believed her days to be moonlit and nights starless,
She was rescued from the emptiness into wilderness,
In the superficiality of this passing world,
The angels of wisdom scarred her innocence,
The brutal sword of time portrayed her Satanic Highness,
Crush her bones but dare not crumble her spirit,
On the path to enlightenment, she was a princess of darkness,
Beyond the stars, even her shadows were skilfully guarded,
The dark within her soul burnt the colours of gold,
So if her magic, madness and wisdom be mistaken for darkness,
She hoped to never find light again.

Autumn and Spring

She paused. He resumed. She was speechless. He offered explanations. She expected the best. He prepared for the worst. She was ignorant. He reciprocated kindness. She was the aura of Autumn. He believed her to be the glory of Spring. In this delusional world of calamity and hypocrisy, she knew he’d bow down to her altar every single day with faith in his heart, desire in his soul, light in his eyes and a prayer on his lips. She knew him to be an absolute non-believer before he began worshipping her inevitably invincible flaws. While he was merely a sculpture made from clay and sent to Earth, it was her that breathed life into his soulless existence. She was his religion, his temple and the dawn of hope serving as an anchor for his bruised soul drenched in sin and sorrow.

She thought to herself if the Lord would detest her for letting His creation believe in the apparent mightiness of another flawed being. However, her demons roared louder than the voice of her conscience, “Didn’t the Lord Himself proclaim that those who worship others do so albeit in an improper way?”

He had unknowingly found the will of his heart while she had found yet another prey.

The taste of love, I tell you, is lethal.

Born to be Loved

You were my master plan,
My eternity and my life span,
Nothing close to my imagination,
Nothing close to an ordinary man,
You were you,
A man dressed in blue,
For some reason,
I couldn’t see through,
A volcano erupting,
For I knew,
You were a man,
Born to be loved.

You were my everything,
My autumn and my spring,
The song I loved to sing,
Nothing close to the love I read about,
Nothing close to my fears and doubts,
You were you,
A man who knew the art,
For some reason,
I couldn’t stop my heart,
From falling,
From wanting,
From breaking,
The universe tore itself apart,
For this love I felt,
Nothing less than magic,
For I never knew,
It was unfortunate and tragic,
But what I always knew,
You were a man,
Born to be loved.

Crazy Midnight Post!

It tasted better than KFC's Twister (I swear)

It tasted better than KFC’s Twister (I swear – don’t forget healthier as well)

I had a very yummy Midnight-Snack (I think it was the world’s best wrap) and I am craving Ben & Jerry’s half-baked Alaska (Cookie Dough & Chocolate Fudge Brownie) so much! Not that I don’t have it in the freezer but I am trying to keep my hands off eating too much at this point and time of the night!

Something I got hold of when it snowed in the mid or March - a chock for many who are new to England's unpredictability!

Something I got hold of when it snowed in the mid of March – a shock for many who are new to England’s unpredictability!(Yet I love England for now at least)

The night was starry earlier, I had two cans of Red bull around 8 in the evening when I went for a walk. The sunsets in Spring are stunningly beautiful though I am not sure if it’s spring in England or not as it hasn’t quite warmed up in here. The wind blows like a tornado is on its way, at times it is enough scary – thankfully I am not skinny.

"He's Watching Her" - I didn't even have to read the synopsis before buying this one and I don't regret!

“He’s Watching Her” – I didn’t even have to read the synopsis before buying this one (Ignore the background)

Currently, I am reading this book “Killing Cupid” by Louise Voss & Mark Edwards. I must say, a pretty good book – I’d even recommend reading it to those who’d like raw romance/love (I really mean “Raw” – you’d get to know once you get hold of the book to read the synopsis) along with suspense and a major thriller! The main character “Alex” creeped me out more than once in the beginning but I always end up falling for the main(male) character in the book and so it happened for him too – at times I wonder, why men in books are portrayed to be perfect?

Well, I probably would get back to reading as I am done with this exciting midnight post! I am not stoned but still I am high – the freaking part is “I don’t know why”!

So…….. May the odds be in your favor – Goodbye! (Good Night/Good Morning/Good Evening according to your time zones – Happy Friday)
