Sometimes..

Sometimes silence speaks louder than words,
Sometimes tears stain the stronger than the weak,
Sometimes the stars sparkle brighter than the sun,
Sometimes distance unites than divide,
Sometimes the lies are simpler than the truth,
Sometimes grief is much more contagious than a smile,
Sometimes living in the present is more difficult than planning a tomorrow,
Sometimes survival is much less destructive than surrender,
Sometimes just sometimes,
Love does not cause sorrow,
Hope is not a delight,
Pain is not a curse,
Time is not cruel,
Failure is not trying,
Happiness is not fatal,
Sometimes just sometimes,
One moment can last a forever.

Pariah

I am sick of all your lies,
I can’t ever see through your disguise,
But I try so hard to find the truth in your eyes,
That I am broken and bruised on the inside,
You say you are sorry,
And I tell you that it will be alright,
So we get back to living the good old days,
Until a fight break out,
And you want to leave again,
For you love playing this game,
‘Cause you know my love for you won’t change,
You say that you will leave this time for the good,
And I beg you to stay one last time if you could,
‘Cause I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you,
So you are the predator and my heart is your prey,
You are like a con-man who doesn’t need to stay,
And I beg you to give us one last chance,
You push me away so you could have it your way,
Keeping your heart cold, you fail to see,
I am fragile but it wont stop you from breaking me,
All along, I had mistaken you for the cure to my pain,
I was such a fool in love,
That I didn’t know you were just the same,
There were no exceptions to the rules of your game,
I was just another name you wanted to claim,
And it’s all my fault and I am to be blamed,
I should have never trusted you with my heart,
‘Cause now I just can’t let you go,
Yes, I just can’t stay apart,
But who knew I was doomed right from the start,
All I know now is that I am the pariah,
I belong nowhere and to no one.

I have not been active on WordPress lately because I have been super-busy. I will get back to reading and writing soon. Thank you for the patience and love.

The World of Labels

After a sickening eternity, rainbows lingered in her eyes. The violet emerged ever so charismatically in her cold grey eyes when she imagined a life beyond her cottage in the woods. The fireworks lightened her dark lonely heart with sparks of bright hope and vibrant dreams when she realized that she could finally fly in the indigo sky. She was unhappy to leave her nest and folks behind but at the same time exhilarated to step out of the shadows to embrace a new beginning. She was tempted by the world of unknowns and danger. Little did she know, life outside her cottage was a vicious trap but she wouldn’t understand unless she became a victim of its sweet pain.

The reality of her existence boomed with the blues of Sea-Holly as she was warmly welcomed by the place she had only dared to explore in her dreams. The buildings stood taller than the pine trees that surrounded her cottage in the woods. She noticed that the sun shone differently in this so-called flawless world as if it vacillated whether to share its precious light with the gloomy creatures. The stars didn’t sparkle with their usual pearly white light at night and she was taken aback by the unusual differences she had observed in such a short time span. Wasn’t Nature supposed to be same all across the planet? Pushing her thoughts aside, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath trying to absorb all she could of her enthralling yet mysterious green surroundings.

Days passed by and her pale yellow aura projected that she was utterly excited and hopeful for the future since she had recently embarked on a spiritual journey. Although in reality, the palpable excitement she had once felt about her life had been diminishing slightly. It was not that she wanted to return to her nest but this thriving world didn’t appeal to her as much as before. As she began pondering over the matter, the stunning orange sky took over her senses. She gave up in the arms of an enchanting evening hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Time taught her well. The land of her dreams was painted with red. They loved each other and fought with the same people they cared for. They plucked the blooming flowers and stole the delight of Nature to decorate their houses but at the same time preached to be environmental friendly. They complained about the cold weather in winters and about the heat in summers. They were capable of differentiating between right and wrong yet chose to favor and support the corrupt. They killed to enforce peace. They had labelled everything from the color of their skin to the blood in their veins. They treated their fellow beings differently based on their gender, profession, religion and race. They bullied the weak and hated to be reminded that they were in the same shoes not too long ago. They lived in the world of gadgets where they text-messaged often and rarely spoke. They shared everything on the social media in the name of ‘sharing is caring’ but in reality, the idea of sharing was almost unknown to them. They were never contented and always yearned for more. These creatures were not only different from her folks in the woods but also were complex. Their actions often contradicted their words as their minds did their hearts.

The rainbows in her eyes faded as this multicolored world of labels stomped over her dreams and awoke her to a harsh reality. The truth was bitter but the lies she had been living for the past few months had been sweet. How she wished to rewind time and be unknown to all the mysteries which had been unraveled. How she wished to be a child again.

Wait; was she one of them already?

The Warrior Spirit

The first time when he touched her,
He claimed her soul to his breath,
She decided for his heart to be her home,
And together they vowed to never give it up,
Then one day, he took away her tomorrow,
Blended her boundless love with unlimited sorrow,
Since then, she had only known her shadow,
To be her ally in the darkness alone,
For every night when he was away,
She chose to drown in his memory,
Every morning when she woke up to an empty life,
She chose to deny the truth,
So she could surrender to the endless pain,
That pierced through her self-esteem,
Whenever she tried to say goodbye,
To the world they created together,
While he had left her behind to savor their doom,
She played with the broken pieces,
Of her withering and flickering heart,
So she could fool it just one last time,
With the hope that he will return,
And claim her to himself all over again,
But until then, she would survive the pain,
With a smile on her face,
And the warrior-spirited woman she is,
So don’t be late this time, she would be waiting.

A Love Trap

The rotten scent of your broken promises,
Lingered on my skin,
Smothered my soul,
Brutally marked me inch by inch,
With the thousand lies,
That stemmed from one another,
Truth was a pungent poison,
Love was a panel of misty dreams,
You had lit an inextinguishable fire within me,
To drown out the voice of my mind,
You fearlessly knocked at the door of my heart,
Failed to realize that love was a perilous art,
You laid out an ingenious plan,
Every move brought you only closer,
To reach the shore — the beginning of our dead-end,
A moment you had waited an eternity for,
Oblivious to the love that could have been your abode,
You cherished the lust cradling your soul,
Only to destroy one thing I loved the most,
Ever since my heart had found its way to you,
It ached me to love you more than myself,
But don’t you dare question it my ruthless lover,
Love within me can burn for a lifetime,
I can learn to build the world of my dreams again,
Pain can leave me scars over the years,
The suffering and sacrifices can never go in vain,
These scars are the badges I wear,
So proudly for conquering my fears,
As a proof that I have survived,
That I am breathing and healing,
Most of all that I have made it out alive,
I might never learn to love myself like before,
‘Cause I chose to love a man made only for war.

Desire

Forever and now, the lips are sealed,
Words uttered are merely a pass in the air,
Forever and now, the hearts bleed,
Actions done are merely another sacrifice to bear,
Now or never, you decide,
Flip or turn, we have tried,
False hopes but the truth’s divide,
In the quest for a cure but my hollow insides,
I feel wanderlust, consumed and denied,
These open wounds couldn’t heal unless love is by my side,
The emptiness fills my soul with pleasure every once in a while,
The solitude strangles my demons striving to attain ecstasy,
I paint this world with a single stroke of a shy smile,
Distance can keep us apart but my love travels every day mile for mile,
Seldom the darkness crawls in blurring our vision,
Wounding us with the sword of our decisions,
Our fears are the rivals in this love-battle,
Let’s break away from the worldly shackles,
While all these years your love has only lifted me higher,
You have me wondering if you are the only dream I truly desire.

Downfall

You and your lies,
Denial and dejection,
The master of disguise,
Love and affection,
Did you ever realize?
You were my idea of perfection,
Was it much of a surprise?
That you were my life’s direction,
Hope and compromise,
You became an infection,
I was high on you,
You became my reflection,
I inhaled you,
The ecstasy grew,
You were my one last wish,
I begged you from you,
You were my one last prayer,
I pleaded for this to be true,
Love and lust,
I tried it all,
Believe and trust,
The invisible cold wall,
You were a sensation.
One that needed to rust,
A pile of emotions,
Left unconsidered and undiscussed,
You melted like ice,
In the palm of my hands,
You walked away,
With your own plans,
One day, when you’ll have nothing at all,
Remind yourself of our downfall.

Journey for two

We're meant to be one - two bodies but a single soul!

We’re meant to be ‘one’ – two bodies but a single soul.

The core of my heart is blue,
Seeking love to breakthrough,
Enchanted in your spell, I knew,
Life will never give me such a view,
I abandoned everybody in my crew,
Fearless, I lived on the edge like you,
Suddenly, it was me drinking your youth,
I poised motionlessly on the truth,
I surrendered my freedom to you,
I poisoned my self esteem to get through,
I stabbed my courage before it grew,
I let my passion burn in ashes few,
I disarmed myself for there was nothing due,
No battles anymore, the pictures I drew,
The Blood spattered wind as it blew,
For now was the time to comprehend this clue,
The journey of love is a ride for two.

Almost()

IMG_0514.JPG

Almost absolutely,
He took away my breath;
Almost single-handedly,
He conquered my heart.

Almost immediately,
He confessed his love;
Almost spontaneously,
He promised me a ‘Forever’.

Almost motionlessly,
He made his first move;
Almost gracefully,
He lifted me in his arms.

Almost generously,
He blew his kisses;
Almost miraculously,
He built us up.

Almost quickly,
He savored every inch of my body;
Almost boldly,
He claimed what belonged to him.

Almost effortlessly,
He became my world;
Almost promptly,
We were each other’s abode.

Almost massively;
We grew in love;
Almost flawlessly,
We held each other.

Almost necessarily,
We chose a wrong path;
Almost certainly,
We agreed to separate.

Almost accusingly,
His eyes didn’t utter a word;
Almost mournfully,
I accepted the Fate’s challenge.

Almost shortly,
I realized what I had lost;
Almost horrifyingly,
There was no way back.

Almost carefully,
I took a wound to my heart;
Almost soothingly,
I lived in peace with the pain.

Almost hungrily,
I waited and waited;
Almost harshly,
I realized the truth.

Mostly, life will almost stop happening;
If I can precisely predict about its certainty.

The Mystery of Life

life_beautiful (16)
Before your lips flutter,
Words you want to utter,
Dare you not stutter,
Think before you open your mouth,
Think of the birds flying from North to South,
Think of the whales underwater,
Think of the life without death for a matter,
Think and realize before you lose  your breath.

Watch your words before you speak,
Don’t be a reason for someone to be weak,
Don’t hassle and try not to freak,
You know the truth which they are willing to seek,
Who says, truth is bitter?
Prove them wrong and let your smile glitter.

Birds are a symbol of freedom,
A reason for the mornings to be cheerful,
A reason for the sun to be fearless,
A reason for the earth to be beautiful,
A reason for the humans to learn to be blissful,
Teaching the significance of love, unity and the charm to be graceful.

Water is life,
A symbol of purity,
For marine life, an insurance of security,
Beauty of the oceans and the creatures undiscovered,
Praise the glory of Nature,
When every day is a new beginning in the undercover,
Grab the opportunity where Nature can be your lover.

Death is a mystery,
Yet life is a puzzle to solve this history,
As you sow so shall you reap,
Keep your nose clean while you prepare for the eternal sleep,
Cherish every morning and the presence of sun,
Live every moment like it’s your last and the only one.

Wisdom is the daughter of experience,
Life teaches you step by step on the way,
Be careful as there’ll be ups and downs as you stray,
Remain steadfast for you’re a warrior who can’t run away,
Believe in your heart and soul – forget and forgive everyday.
