Day 22: The Best Thing to Happen This year

Something went wrong so I had to post this again. Apologies for any inconvenience.

I recently got published if you didn’t know (Am I Really Published?). It was not just any article, it was a big achievement for me and for The Tab Leicester as well.

According to this girl who is the assistant editor at The Tab, my article was responsible for generating the most of the traffic on the day it was published (11 February 2015) making Tab Leicester’s ranking 7th across all Tab sites.

I got around 285 shares and 22, 583 views for my only article leaving me to be the 15th most popular Tab contributor. I was astounded to be on the second place for my very first article in the list of Tab Top Five Articles of The Week. I couldn’t believe all this was happening within a matter of two days because I didn’t think that the article was this good.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you WordPress and my readers who have been sharing their love with me for a long time. Thank you for reading, appreciating and sharing.

Until the next post, Live, Love, Inspire & (don’t forget to) Smile. Believe in yourself and you can conquer all your fears.

Day 18: The meaning behind your blog name

GlobalUnison — I always wanted to be able to communicate with people from as many places as I thought exist on this planet. I wanted to know about their experiences, culture, food, traditions and how different they were despite of being exactly like me – a human. I wanted to unite with this world through my blog. I knew these conspiracies were just a political and diplomatic upfront. Pakistan and India still have the Kashmir conflict to resolve and according to ‘sources’, people of these two lands have grudge against each other (It makes me want to laugh hysterically). I have earned some great Indian friends (for life-time) through my blog. I believe these things don’t exist in reality. People are too busy to pick up a fight just on the basis of some political or media-made controversy. Anyway, my point is I wanted to know the world through this blog without being able to visit the places in person (although one day I’d like to — every one of them) and I accomplished my mission as far as I know.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for being the part of my life and for sharing your world with me. Thank you for being such a wonderful audience and my cyber-family (as I call it my WordPress Family).

Until tomorrow, Live, Love, Inspire & (don’t forget to) Smile. Believe in yourself and you can conquer all your fears.

Day 15: Timeline of your day

Every day has a distinguished timeline, much of it depends on my school timetable. Today is Thursday, so let’s get on with today’s timeline, shall we?

10:00 a.m. Trying to get out of the bed.
10:45 a.m. Finally out of bed.
11:00 a.m. Getting ready for school.
12:00 p.m. School Time (Lectures).
04:00 p.m. Heading back home and posted Filling in the Spaces -V- on WordPress.
04:30 p.m. Finally at home.
05:00 p.m. Family Time (Voice-calls or Video-calls).
06:00 p.m. Listening to songs and relaxing.
07:00 p.m. Self-Study.
10:30 p.m. Writing this post.
11:30 p.m. Surfing on YouTube or Google (who knows it could be a movie).
Sleeping time, I can’t say. My nights are quite long, they usually keep me up until late.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the Facebook-breaks and WordPress-breaks. I think they don’t count as I am usually checking up stuff on them almost on hourly basis. My ‘Plants v Zombies’ time will be after I am done with this post.

Until tomorrow, Live, Love, Inspire & (don’t forget to) Smile. Believe in yourself and you can conquer all your fears.

Day 11: List 15 of your favorite things

Firstly, I apologize that I couldn’t post for the past few days which means that the sole reason for me to take up this ‘Blog Challenge’ (to blog regularly for a change) couldn’t be accomplished. However, I will give myself another chance and try to go on without breaks once again. Secondly, I greatly appreciate all the readers and people who follow my blog. Your feedback is always warmly welcome and cheers me up so much. Thank you lovely people. Thank you for being so amazing and encouraging.

Now, let’s get on with the list:

Candles <3

Candles ❤

Music: Music is like a therapy without any cost.

YouTube: I don’t think there could be any better time-pass than YouTube!

Plants vs. Zombies: I mean if somebody knows even a bit about me, they will know ‘I am in love with PvZ!’(I am so excited to beat out ‘Frostbite Caves’).

Water: No beverage beats out water! I ‘heart’ water.

Chocolate: I find it very hard to resist chocolate (chocolate makes me weak and fat).

Wrist Watches: I use wrist watches as jewelry. I am not very girly, even a pair of earrings feels like a burden to me which my mother doesn’t really like and appreciate about me. However, a beautiful ‘old-fashioned’ type of a wrist watch is all about my taste ( the round-small-dial and silver chain kind but not the latest ‘fashion’ with big dials that feeds up on your entire wrist). I like to be ‘old-fashioned’ (or may be feel old-fashioned). It’s all about elegance after all (for me).

My Mom’s Cooking: Everything my mother cooks seem to taste so delicious and mouth-watering! I wish I could cook like her one day.

Tube Roses: I can never get over these heavenly white blossoms. I am not a very ‘flowery’ person but these flowers smell-out-of-the-world!

WordPress: It’s my favorite platform to read, write and socially interact with people.

Ketchup: I can eat ketchup practically with everything (just cant eat on its own) so to not include it in this list would be unfair.

Dresses: I love dresses, not really a big fan of jeans.

Poetry: I love reading and writing poetry. It makes me feel more deeply about things and helps me relax.

Candles: Especially the scented ones. Lighting candles (sometimes even the tea-light candles) instead of turning on the light first thing in the morning soothes me so much. After that, I can enjoy a mug of coffee or just sit there by the candle scrolling through my phone on WordPress Feed, Facebook and BBC. Sometimes, I just like to watch the candle burn out.

People-Who-Make-My-World-a-Happy-Reality: I don’t have loads of friends or a big buzzing social circle. I have my family (comprising of six-individuals and not all are blood-related). I have few friends — some who really care. I can’t be grateful enough for these people to complete my world. They are my all-time-favorites!

Myself: It should be on the top of the list but anyway, I really love myself. I am my ‘favorite’.

Ta-da!! I am done. I hope I can go on with the challenge smoothly once again after this short-break.

Until next time, Live, Love, Inspire & (don’t forget to) Smile. Believe in yourself and you can conquer all your fears.
