Flying in the air for days,
He forgot there existed a land,
Fighting the battles in haze,
He forgot he was a man,
Living every day like it’s the last one,
Chasing happiness and misery all along,
He forgot to remember,
The feel of life, the touch of a mortal,
The essence of true love, the joy of giving,
The audacity to forgive, the promises to get by,
He forgot to remember,
He was a man born to die.

About globalunison
Writing is my passion and that is what I do here on this blog. I write about everything, whether it be Nature, Love, Hate, Relationships, Humans, Personal Life (where I discuss lessons learnt through real-life experiences), Food, Philosophy (sometimes) and much more. I write in any form whether it be Prose or Poetry. I am in search of ‘Myself’, hence there is not much I can tell you about me. Perhaps, I have a very brilliant idea. Why don’t you come along with me on my journey? I will always care to share and you can also enjoy the ride.
For now, this is it. I am ‘ME’ – a wanderer in search of a fulfilling life. Until next time, Love Living Life!
I express my sincere gratitude to all my Readers!

Wow. You say deep things in such an easy way, with simple words and yet they do leave a startling feeling. I hope I did understand it the way it was meant to be. -Sharoze
We all have different interpretations for different things and I think that’s how poetry is supposed to be.
Thank you for your comment.
Kind Regards,

Ya this word audacity so powerful and avenging
and I hope people learn to tend themselves before lying ground with a white cloth.. Epic Naima ❤
We get so absorbed with the pleasures of the world that we forget that there is an end to all this too.
Much love,

He forgot to live until death came knocking. Its awesome
A very simple concept yet we don’t pay heed to it.

This is painful,Naima. Born to die why? Life has so much to offer for you. Loneliness and agony is just temporary feelings. Hope, you are alright. Hugs and love to you.
I was just trying to get across that we all are here for a short period of time. This transitory abode is just another place for our soul and we often forget that.
I hope you are doing fine.

the world cannot crush me….. NAima, I’ve been there before now, I’m trekking home you will find me posting hopeful songs of love. It was yesterday….and we are living today preparing for our tomorrow. That’s what we are all heading being thankful both the lessons and the blessings it brings to our lives that’s how I view things. In this world we can’t have all the things that we wanted but at least, maybe, we lost someone because there’s someone better will come along. Keep on hoping
This is great, Naima. We can get so caught up sometimes that we forget we are people first. Cheers.
I agree. I wonder how can a man forget there is an end to his time. While those who understand the mortality of human body know that this world is just another destination for our soul.
-Naima
How ironic! And that is how man is;we forget our mortality! Great write! 🙂
Yes, we forget because we indulge ourselves into the pleasures of this world only to forget that there is an end to this time.
Thank you for your comment, Celestine.
Kind Regards,

Brilliant, something we all forget so easily and take life for granted.

I know, taking time and life for granted — this is how exactly lost we are in this world.

The essence of true love, the joy of giving,
The audacity to forgive, the promises to get by,
