He comes closer,
Gently embracing her with the melody,
Of his soft soothing voice and the words,
That paint her the most exquisite pictures,
Tempting her to stay a little longer,
Every time she is about to leave,
So she savours the pleasure of his company,
Absorbing the beauty of their moment,
For this is the only place,
Where she is not afraid to fall,
‘Cause she believes in him,
Far more than she had ever believed in herself,
He relishes her silence and the smiles,
Her deep throaty laugh fills his mind,
Resonating from time to time to uplift and inspire him,
So he can scribble his heart away,
The simplicity of her soul and the patience of her heart,
Rejuvenate him in the times of strife,
For the rest of the world,
She is an unknown,
And he is content,
For he wants her for himself alone,
They fuse together so magnificently,
Like hydrogen unites with oxygen,
To give birth to water,
Together they blend into each other,
To give life to perfection,
And they would never know,
It’s not science but the magic of love,
Which is undeniably simple and stable.

She is the wonder woman who have me believing (up until now) that love is magical by loving me unconditionally ❤

This is so so beautiful.

How can anything inspired by love (whether it is pain or happiness) not be beautiful?
Much love,
-Naima
Thaumaturgical work…well done
Well love is all about miracles itself.
Much love,
-Naima
So true. Mother’s love is unconditional. 🙂
I can’t agree more but it was quite amazing that you made out it was my mother in the picture :))
Warm Regards,
-Naima
I had seen a post of yours which had a photo of your mom and dad. Recognised her from that. 🙂 A very pretty lady, you must tell her. 🙂
Aww.. You are so generous. I will certainly let her know that (although I am sure she gets that a lot lol) ❤
-Naima
There is a serenity, calmness even in the tumults of love… And you’ve captured it so beautifully!
Love represents everything: the raging storms and the freedom in the air. It’s the time when we realize the true meaning of love and that it is always around us even when we are too busy to feel it.
-Naima
True, Naima! Very true! 🙂
Love has to be magic to be able to inspire such beauty from your words. I found myself not wanting to leave this poem, so I ended up reading it 3 times.
I think you have made it your mission to make me smile over and over again with your kind words after that ‘smile post’.
Your posts: I have to read them more than once only to understand the deeper meaning you are trying to convey. And then I keep reading it again and again to digest the wisdom you present to the world. Thus, long story short, your comment mean a lot to me.
Wishing you a good weekend Travis.
-Naima
You wanted me to smile even though you would not see it. I like to have that experience with you. It is pure, like an unknown hero not compelled by any reward for self. Gratitude to you!
This experience is genuine and pure (you are right) and I cherish that I have it with you.
-Naima
I suppose this smile won’t end anytime soon. See you around.
So beautiful…my favorite part is the analogy to atoms blending together….they just have to be together as a natural thing.
That was the point: love is natural, some things are ought to happen and Nature plays a part in it.
Thank you for always staying around and reading. Hope you have a great weekend.
-Naima
You’re welcome. The weekend is great. Nice sunshine and warm here on Milford Street. =). I hope you enjoy the weekend also Naima. Cheers.
Aww..this is amazing! And indeed the magic of love holds us for long.! ♥
It does. While emphasizing on the pain and suffering that comes along with it, we forget it has been magical all along to teach us so many things.
I wish you a great weekend.
Warm Regards,
-Naima
Indeed!
A Happy weekend to you too. 🙂
She must feel so loved… thanks for making us be able to read this 🙂

Naima you do magic with words! I swear.!!..They sound so profound and bewitching ,that I am short of words..last lines have captured my heart 😛 ❤
You are too kind, Izza ❤ you always make me smile with your beautiful words.
Much love,
-Naima
You have to get an anthology printed about your poems and a signed copy for me! 🙂 really ! I am damn serious 😛 and whenever you come to this homeland, you’ll bring along! 🙂
I am *blushing* already, please stop (lol)
Thank you for being you, Izza.
-Naima
you don’t need to blush..you should start thinking of it now whenever you have some time on weekends pleaseee 🙂 and I won’t stop till you do a bit of thinking on it 🙂
Aww.. I will certainly think about it but I am not sure if I am that good. I mean I can write whenever I want to scribble away in my diaries or on the blog (where I share my stuff with all you lovelies) but publishing and me?! That’s a question in itself.
Why don’t you consider one yourself and surprise me some day? :))
Blessings,
-Naima
PS– thank you for encouraging, Izza. It means a lot when people can relate to your work and love it. It’s a wonderful feeling.
Oh, Naima, this was absolutely beautiful and I don’t say it often, but I wish I had written in it. 🙂 You are wise beyond your years. ♥
Thank you Lauren. Your comments always make my day cheerful and smiley.
Much love,
