May be >

broken_heart_anti_valentines_day_47-450x250Right turn, left turn or an absolute round about
“Where the hell are you”, I shout
Hasn’t he heard me screaming on his door?
Wide awake; I walk barefoot on the seashore
I feel his sight in the tranquility of the sea
I sense his touch in the caresses of the wind
I perceive his smell when it rains on me
And I dream of us entwined as one
May be this is a life about which my mum told me
When breathing is forced and the soul can’t be set free

I walk and walk when memories take over
The kisses I will cherish and caresses moreover
The sugar-coated words which echo like a mystery in my head
The open wounds which bled over the thousand tears I shed
I need his fingers to sew the wounds with a thread
I lust his aroma and the words unsaid
I feel his sight in the tranquility of the sea
I sense his touch in the caresses of the wind
I perceive his smell when it rains on me
And I dream of us entwined as one
May be this is a life about which my dad told me
When reality demands dreams and so do we

I glare at his silhouette on the sea
Hatred rushes in my blood along with the fire to avenge him
Gradually love for him melts my fury in a heart beat
I beg for the time to turn back and let me compete
The desire to rewrite my script on a new sheet
I crave his blood to refill my ink pen
I yearn for his one last touch all over again
I feel his sight in the tranquility of the sea
I sense his touch in the caresses of the wind
I perceive his smell when it rains on me
And I dream of us entwined as one
May be this is a life about which he told me himself
When a fairy tale can’t be dreamt or lived being yourself.

Footprints In The Mud

As we walk in the wet mud – footprints track us all the way long!

Exquisite nights across the sea shore;
The warmth of love soaring to the core.

Hand in hand as they walk;
Footprints in the mud – their sweet talk.

Redefining love in their very own way;
The wind’s in their favor to savor their stray.

The legacy of betrayal is drifted as they collide;
Ensuring their commendable chemistry makes a big stride.

Pursuing their heart with the rhythm of the flowing river;
Affection embraces them while their heartbeat shivers and quivers.

Love is their life and each other’s arms their abode;
Rocking and cradling each other – they stroll from road to road.

They are homeless – they require a shelter;
Summer is their contender as they swelter.

They are clueless walking aimlessly;
Adoring and fondling each other shamelessly.

The emancipated couple pursues the path of sincerity and loyalty;
Peace and harmony dominates their relationship – compassion treats their royalty.

The Union Carriers

WE ARE ONE” – the voice conquers the WORLD

Wrecked remains of a colossal mass,
Animals slaughtered in the fields grazing grass.
Hearts captive in a fist, ALAS,
A short expedition deliberated, yet to pass.

“WE ARE ONE” was their ultimate voice,
The union of strong and weak with no choice,
Applauding each other, they willingly rejoice,
Darting like arrows from bows, they hustled bustled and created noise.

They screamed out loud, they held hands,
They laughed, they giggled, they would understand,
They fought, they opposed, they gave up their lands,
They rose up high, they took a stand.

Hands clasped pretending to be barriers,
Defeated the swiftness of rivers, the UNION CARRIERS,
Thawed the glaciers, cramped the mountains, emerged as the gallant warriors,
Paced with the winds, illuminated like the glowing chandeliers.

One shell that destroyed their years struggle,
One hand that thrashed their lives forever.
One moment that exhaled poison to juggle,
One name that stabbed their present with the dagger.

Life’s miserable but their steps remained steadfast,
Life’s a curse but a hope of blessing at last,
Life’s a caravan but the Heaven is vast,
Life’s a conjecture, hope to revolutionize the past.

I stood weak envisaging the battlefield in words,
Tears rinsing the blood coated swords.
Almighty exists, thus no worldly Lords,
I embraced the eternal sleep, frail as a cord
